ABOUT US
Northern Lights Wildlife Wolf Centre
Golden, British Columbia, Canada
Started in 1998 by Casey and Shelley Black, the wolf centre is home to 6 wolves. Our wolves were adopted as pups from zoos, and hand-raised by the Blacks. They live in large enclosures, get regular exercise, and are used in educational programs aimed at changing attitudes about wolves, and raising awareness of the importance of wolves.
The wolf centre is open to the public. We tell our visitors about the wolves who are here, and all about wolves in the wild. The interpretive programs take place near the enclosures, so our visitors have a chance to see the wolves, as well as learn about them. We also travel to schools to teach kids the truth about the Big, Bad Wolf…
